GIPPSLAND UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB (GUFC) ARE MAKING SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT IN COACHES IN 2026 IN OUR MINI'S, JUNIOR AND NPL ACADEMY PROGRAMS (U5 TO U18), SENIOR WOMENS AND SENIOR MENS TEAMS.

WE ARE FOCUSED ON YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AS A CLUB WIDE APPROACH.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR COACHING POSITIONS FOR THE 2026 SEASON FOR THE FOLLOWING;

LEAD COACH. WOMENS (SENIORS & RESERVES) – MINIMUM 'C' LICENCE REQUIRED (OR IN PROCESS OF OBTAINING).
LEAD COACH. MENS (SENIORS & U23) – MINIMUM 'C' LICENCE REQUIRED (OR IN PROCESS OF OBTAINING).
ACADEMY NPL BOYS' YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PHASE LEAD COACHES (MINIMUM "C" LICENCE REQUIRED (OR IN PROCESS OF OBTAINING).

ACADEMY BOYS (PRE-NPL) FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT PHASE U12 (STATE LEAGUE) MINIMUM "C" LICENCE REQUIRED (OR IN PROCESS OF OBTAINING).

Note: EOIs for our girls program and metro program will occur at a later date.

Gippsland United Football Club (GUFC) is enhancing its Youth Programs (NPL and Metro Development) with the introduction of a targeted development framework aimed at elevating player growth.

We offer a rewarding opportunity to work with and coach players across our Academy and Senior Programs.

Successful applicants will receive a competitive remuneration package, subject to the demonstration or completion of relevant qualifications as outlined.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the development of young players while helping position Gippsland as a leader in Victorian Football. You'll work alongside a team of driven, like-minded coaches and collaborate with our Technical Director—a highly qualified, experienced former professional footballer and coach from the UK—to refine and expand your coaching techniques and processes.

Coaching qualifications for respective age groups will be necessary. We will consider non-accredited coaches as long as you're prepared to attend 'age-relevant' courses early in the season.
